Cemetery Sites to Explore

Find-A-Grave and BillionGraves are great websites to find your ancestors in cemeteries all over the world. Photographs of the headstones are almost always present, but often patrons have posted links to the deceased's family members, photographs, and even some stories as well.

Our library also has classes on how to fully utilize these sites.

This is much like the old PAF program, EXCEPT that you can synchronize information between FamilySearch and the application. The free versions are probably going to have most of the basic functionality. The PAID versions will have other features like the ability to print out reports, etc. Download the software and play with them to see which has the layout, features, and ease of use for you. If you need help with learning the application you have chosen, feel free to ask a missionary at the library or attend classes on how to use the program.
